Seersucker bezieht sich auf eine Art von Stoff, der aus Baumwolle hergestellt ist und das Seersucker-Muster aufweist. Die Baumwollfasern werden vor dem Weben gefärbt, was oft zu einer höheren Farbbeständigkeit und einem lebendigeren Muster führt im Vergleich zu Stoffen, bei denen die Farben erst nach dem Weben aufgebracht werden.
