Er basiert auf dem Straßenfahrzeug Citroën DS3 und ersetzt den äußerst erfolgreichen Citroën C4 WRC. Er ist nach den neuen World Rally Car-Regularien für 2011 gebaut, die auf den bestehenden Super 2000-Regularien basieren, wird aber von einem 1,6-Liter-Turbomotor angetrieben und nicht von dem 2-Liter-Saugmotor, der in Super 2000-Autos zu finden ist.Die Entwicklungsarbeit an dem Auto wurde 2010 von den Citroën-Fahrern Sébastien Loeb, Dani Sordo, Sébastien Ogier und Testfahrer Philippe Bugalski sowie den Peugeot-Schwesterfahrern Kris Meeke und Stéphane Sarrazin durchgeführt.
Der Motor wurde speziell für dieses Auto entwickelt (ältere Vorschriften verlangten, dass der Motor auf dem Zylinderblock und der Kopfdichtung eines bestehenden Serienmotors basiert). Er entwickelt offiziell 300 PS (223,7 kW) bei 6.000 U/min und 350 Nm (35,7 kgf·m) bei 3.250 U/min.

Cute idea! Very powerful

I love the concept of it, especially for little ones that like to shove toys in their mouths. But boy is it MESSY, lol. Water will absolutely get everywhere even if you put it on the lowest setting so I just let my kids hold it in the bath. They mostly suck in it so I'm not sure if it's actually flossing their teeth, but that's more of a user error, not a product error. I tried it on myself and it's pretty powerful even for an adult. It definitely functions well. The size is just perfect for an adult, kind of big for a toddler. Overall it's great value for your money in my opinion.

Do not use for Sjogren's dry mouth....
