Auf der Kappe des Stücks wird ein Metallring mit Harz gefüllt, unter Verwendung der speziellen Cloisonné-Technik, mit dem Text "Special Nib Sailor". Diese Naginata Cross Music Feder bietet eine doppelte vertikale Schnittfeder, die feine Linien schreibt, wenn sie in normaler Position gehalten wird, und dicke Linien, wenn sie im Winkel gehalten wird. Von diesen Meisterwerken, die von den Sailor-Handwerkern hergestellt werden, kann man optimale Schreibleistungen erwarten. Die speziellen Federn werden auf Bestellung gefertigt.
