For beginners, this means easier takeoffs and no more sudden stalls when the motor pod touches the water. For advanced riders, it means seamless wave performance, you can glide through without feeling resistance or being stopped abruptly. With conventional designs, contact with the motor pod can cause you to slow down sharply or "get stuck."
