Certified-organic Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis Miller) — the "true aloe," grown & cold-pressed in Vivo, Limpopo, South Africa (not the wild Aloe ferox most SA brands use). USDA NOP & EU organic certified by Ecocert. Why barbadensis?

The same single-species Aloe barbadensis Miller inner-leaf material as our cold-pressed juice — freeze-dried into capsules for daily use without the bottle. Made for travel, the gym bag and people who'd rather take the daily intake than drink the juice.

Why this product

  • 💊 Same ACAP-grown inner-leaf material as our juice — single species, single source
  • ❄️ Freeze-dried, not heat-dried — preserves polysaccharide structure
  • ✈️ Travel-friendly — carry-on legal, no fridge required
  • 🇿🇦 Grown, processed and capsulated in South Africa at our ACAP facility
  • HACCP, Ecocert, Kosher, Halal certified

Why freeze-dried matters

Most bulk aloe powder is spray-dried at 150–180°C, which fragments the long-chain polysaccharides (including acemannan) that distinguish quality inner-leaf aloe. Freeze-drying removes water under vacuum at low temperature, keeping that structure intact. It's the same inner-leaf material as our juice — cold-pressed at our ACAP plantation, then freeze-dried — which is why it costs more than commodity-powder capsules.

What's inside

  • Freeze-dried Aloe barbadensis Miller inner-leaf material (single species, no blends)
  • Plant-based capsule shell (HPMC, vegetarian)

No fillers, flow agents, artificial colours or magnesium stearate.

How people use them

Built for the situations where a juice bottle isn't practical: international travel, the gym bag or office drawer, a backup for the juice, and multi-week safari, hiking or remote trips. Suggested serving: 2–3 capsules per day with a full glass of water, ideally in the morning — about the equivalent of a 30–60 ml juice serving.

Who this is not for

  • Children under 10 (consult a paediatric professional first)
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals (consult your healthcare provider before use)
  • Individuals with kidney disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or those on prescription medication — always check with your doctor
  • Anyone with a known sensitivity to aloe or related Asphodelaceae plants
  • People who struggle to swallow capsules (the juice format is better for you)

Storage & shelf life

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate. Keep the desiccant pouch in the bottle. Use within 24 months of manufacture. Best-before date on the bottle base.

FAQ

How do these compare to drinking the juice? 2–3 capsules cover roughly the same daily intake as 30–60 ml of juice. You lose the taste and ritual; you gain travel flexibility and compactness.

Are these the same as supermarket aloe capsules? No. Most contain spray-dried imported powder of unspecified species. Ours are freeze-dried inner-leaf material from our own Aloe barbadensis Miller plantation in South Africa.

Can I take them on a plane? Yes — solid supplements travel freely in hand or checked luggage. Keep the labelled bottle for customs.

Are these vegetarian/vegan? Yes. The shell is plant-based HPMC, with no animal-derived ingredients.

What if I struggle to swallow capsules? Open the capsule and stir the contents into water, juice or a smoothie.

Our aloe: certified-organic Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis Miller)

The aloe in Curaloe products is our own Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis Miller) — the "true aloe" prized in skincare and wellness, not the wild Aloe ferox that most South African aloe brands use. We grow it ourselves and cold-press it within hours of hand-harvest at our plantation in Vivo, Limpopo Province, South Africa.

That aloe is certified organic by Ecocert to both the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) and EU organic standards. Curaloe is the consumer brand of African Caribbean Aloe Products (ACAP). Why Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis Miller)?

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
