Featuring a peened gripping surface, the unit is 54 inches by 42 inches in size. The grab bars are crafted from 18 gauge stainless steel tubing that has an attractive satin finish to cut down on fingerprints, while still giving the unit an attractive gleam. The ASI 3857-P is a horizontal grab bar unit that measures 1-1/2 inches in diameter. Featuring a peened gripping surface, the unit is 54 inches by 42 inches in size. The grab bars are crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing that has an attractive satin finish to cut down on fingerprints, while still giving the unit an attractive gleam. At either end of the grab bar is a flange that is 3-1/8 inches in diameter. Each flange is made from type-304 stainless steel that is 1/8 of an inch thick and securely herliarc welded to the stainless steel tubing. The grab bar features a pair of snap-on flange covers made of type-304, 22-gauge stainless steel. Measuring 3-3/16 inches in diameter, the flange covers slide downward and snap over the flange once the unit is installed. The secure fit of the cover conceals the mounting hardware, protecting the grab bar from tampering and acts of vandalism.
