About Joli

Joli is a long dreamed about addition to Mon Pote - a range of exclusive products designed by artisans and small makers and artists, just for us.  The brand name Joli is a mis-spelling of the French word Jolie meaning pretty but also sounding like the English word Jolly, meaning happy and cheerful.  How do you pronounce it?  However you like, just as you should decorate your home however you like, wear whatever you like and do whatever you like (within reason), as long as it makes you happy and cheerful.  

We start with introduction of a range of handmade lampshades and lamp bases made by our skileld artisan in India.  Mix and match the colours and styles to create what you like, we think they all work well.  Look out for  our next instalment - handmade ceramics by two of our favourite Bristish ceramiscists.  We can't wait to show you!
