For those who like it raw and rowdy, the Track Edition is for you. The Track Edition shares the same integrated front pipe, bespoke mid pipe resonator, and precision engineering as its Touring Edition counterpart, minus AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®. In place of the 180 Technology® resonator in the rear lies a Track Edition straight section. As a result, this version is known to get (really) rowdy in mid-range acceleration and deceleration, and may be too much for many. And you can't return it if its too loud (but you can convert it to a Touring Edition). You've been warned. Running the Track Edition and think it's too loud? AWE made it easy to switch to a Touring Edition with the engineered Conversion Kit to tone it down. You're never stuck if you decide at a later date to change your volume. Important notes: The exhausts includes a 3” front pipe. This front pipe is integrated into the design of the exhausts. AWE exhausts are not designed to mate with other aftermarket front pipes. Downpipes, on the other hand, should work just fine (so long as they work with the factory-style flange). We decided to reuse the factory-style flange and gasket for reliability and long-term performance. The factory's double-layer steel gasket design is vastly superior to any aftermarket flat gasket. This design allows for the gasket to be fully captured by the machined groove in the flange, eliminating any possibility of blowout or deterioration over long-term use. Additionally, it is fully serviceable, unlike a flat gasket that can stick to the mating flanges and tear upon removal. Each CTR exhaust comes complete with 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips available in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, and feature a stamped AWE logo. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.VTEC. Turbo. AWE.This Part Fits:

The product is good and contrary to some comments I read it was not a mess to install and went on very nicely. That said I placed on a 71 Baracudda and starting from a 71db I was able to drop that down to about 66 with two layers Kilmatt 80mil

Kilmat Car Sound Deadening Mats

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

A Must Have For Car Restorations!

I have been installing this matting in my 74 Datsun 260Z restore and very pleased with the ease of application and overall quality. My car has bedliner coating inside and this stuff sticks extremely well and is easy to trim and shape as well. I have just started installing it and using the rollers to work it in place but I can already tell a difference with just the little bit I have added....has reduced the resonance in the metal already. It's not a fast process but know it will be very rewarding once complete.

Great sound mat for the price!

This is a good product. Many people go with KILMAT because of the value to price point. I did as well. When you clean the surface (in my case it was all painted metal) this stuff sticks very well. I do recommend you use a seam roller of some type, I used Lumiteco 3 piece roller set. This will help with adhesion and mostly flatten the overlapped edges. It also helps you see where you have rolled as it leaves little grooves. The difference when we had no sound mats and after was very impressive. We haven't finished our install yet and it is quieter than when we had an interior in the van. There are thicker mats available in other brands, but this will work great for our van build, but this helps keep the weight down. It is quality material, just be careful when you are removing the backing, the edge of the foil face can cut you. I suggest you layout where you are installing the mat and cut to fit. From what I have read, you don't need to cover every inch in the vehicle, just spot install for a big difference. I chose to cover most surfaces to help keep sound out when we are sleeping in the van. We haven't finished putting the van yet, but we have driven it around and been very satisfied with this product.
