The Teak used by the craftsmen to create these functional objects of natural art are hand crafted using the unique outside cut offs from planning large trunks of farmed teak from replanted forests. These vases can be used inside or outside as Teak has always been a favored wood for exterior use as it is one of the most oily of woods and the oil preserves and protects the wood.

Note: In an outdoor application the wood ages beautifully and will continue to dry and weather to a deeper grey. Lacquer top coats can also be applied to maintain the finish as you desire. Made by hand and imported from Indonesia.
