The Palio Hidden Dragon 40+ is the new and significantly improved version of the Palio Hidden Dragon Biotech. The flooring does not require 'factory-tuning'' and still offers noticeably more speed and efficiency. Only one thing it does not offer - the specified extremely soft sponge. Instead of the 33-35 degrees specified by the manufacturer, we are realistic and on Japanese scale at about 40 degrees. The yellow sponge is almost the same as the Palio CJ 8000 Premium. The upper rubber is slightly sticky and medium hard, the inward-facing bumps are very short. The upper rubber is also very elastic, which allows the light built-in fresh adhesive effect of the sponge to be increased a little. The playing behaviour is more oriented towards Japanese and German surfaces, whereby the crooked flight curve of the ball provides an additional danger. Of the two Dragon 40+ pads on offer, the Hidden Dragon is the slightly slower and the one that is better suited for the table-close game with stronger use of the wrist.
