Description: The MS1-XTG6 kit features an Xtreme pressure plate tailored for the most demanding drivers. ACT Xtreme pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. Each diaphragm undergoes a comprehensive four-stage heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency in ACT pressure plates. The 6-pad spring-centered race disc features a spring-center construction designed to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and enhance strength and reliability. With the 6-pad spring-centered race disc, expect harsher engagement but faster shifts. This disc configuration is recommended for high horsepower street or race use, offering superior performance and durability.
