ATGBICS Sandvine® compatible 100-00482 40GBase QSFP+ to 4 SFP+ Active Optical Cable operates over Active Fibre using a wavelength of 850nm over MMF with a cable length of 10m. This product operates within a commercial temperature range. It is suitable for short reach connection between 40G QSFP+ and 10G SFP+ enabled host adapters, switches, and servers in 40G interconnecting networking applications and provides a cost-efficient way to connect hardware within close proximity racks. This breakout cable connects to 1 x 40G QSFP+ port on one end and to 4 x 10G SFP+ ports on the other end.

nice 3 strand 16 gauge wire

This review is for a 20 foot sample of 3 stranded 16 gauge wire. 300V capacity. Using a multimeter, I got a resistance reading of 0.2 ohms across each of the three strands (at roughly 68 degrees Farenheit). Specs say 26 strands of 0.254 mm Tinned copper wire are inside each cable. Good flexibility in the covering.

Good quality but no more flexible than average cords.

The internal wires are good quality with a decent number of strands, but the outer cover is standard pvc, tough but no more flexible than any other cord product. Not suitable for my use on a hand power tool, a rubber cover is better.
