The gas piston strength on this frame is 85 N and can support mattresses up to the weight of 65 kg. The maximum weight load for the 4'6" frame is 300 kg, and the 5' frame is 400 kg. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress, and the recommended maximum mattress height is 305 mm. The mattress needs to be on the bed for the pistons to work
