In 1970, Hans J. Wegner introduced an exclusive office concept comprising a desk, accompanying chair, and a slender easy chair. The series epitomizes some of Wegner's finest steel-framed furniture. A distinctive feature of the CH111 chair's design is the back leg, twisted through 180 degrees, which provides support to the upholstery on the chair's back. Wegner's uncompromising commitment to quality is evident in the chair's construction, where the back leg is a single, twisted piece of steel, rather than two welded pieces.
