Two trends are shaping today’s data centers: devices are getting smaller and more power-dense, while other equipment still demands robust, reliable power delivery to keep mission-critical workloads humming. The Eaton Enclosure Power Distribution Unit (ePDU) line is purpose-built to meet both realities with elegance and ease. The Eaton Flex PDU, a compact 1U, 12-outlet solution, is crafted to maximize rack density without compromising on power quality or reliability. Designed for single-phase 110–125V environments, this architecture delivers up to 1.92 kW of continuous power from a single, tidy unit that fits neatly into standard 19-inch racks. Whether you are provisioning a micro-server cluster in a colocation cage, expanding a dense HPC node array, or equipping a lab rack with dependable power, the Eaton Flex PDU makes power distribution simpler, safer, and more scalable. It’s not just about plugging in devices; it’s about shaping a more organized, efficient, and resilient rack environment that lowers downtime risk and boosts operational efficiency.

  • 1U footprint with 12 outlets: The compact 1U form factor enables high-density rack deployments without sacrificing outlet count. With 12 easily accessible outlets, you can power multiple servers, switches, storage devices, and peripherals from a single, centralized source. The streamlined design reduces cable clutter and improves airflow, helping to maintain cooling efficiency across your rack. This configuration is ideal for modern data centers that need to pack maximum capability into limited rack space while keeping wiring organized and manageable.
  • High-density power, reliable performance: The Flex PDU supports a maximum of 1.92 kW at 110–125V with a 16A rating, giving you the clean, steady power distribution required for contemporary equipment footprints. This balance of power capacity and compact form helps keep circuits within safe limits while avoiding the risks of overloading. The result is consistent performance for blade servers, storage arrays, virtualization hosts, networking gear, and other density-focused assets that define today’s edge, core, and hybrid data centers.
  • Single-phase suitability for common data-center deployments: Built around standard 110–125V single-phase power, the Eaton Flex PDU is well suited to a wide array of configurations—from small labs to larger multi-rack installations. This compatibility ensures straightforward integration with existing electrical infrastructure and reduces the complexity of planning power for new racks. Whether your site relies on utility power or a backup generator feed, the PDU’s electrical characteristics align with typical data-center power rails to provide dependable, predictable distribution.
  • Durable, rack-ready design and cable-management benefits: The 1U enclosure is engineered for reliable operation in busy data-center environments. Its construction supports mounting in standard 19-inch racks with minimal footprint and straightforward cable routing. The design helps you organize power cables, shorten interconnect distances, and improve airflow, which can contribute to cooler equipment and lower cooling costs. With the Eaton brand behind it, you also gain the assurance of proven engineering, quality materials, and long-term serviceability that are hallmarks of enterprise-grade PDUs.
  • Flexible deployment and scalable power distribution: This PDU is part of a broader Eaton enclosure ecosystem, designed to adapt as your rack needs evolve. Start with a reliable 12-outlet, 1U unit and scale by adding additional PDUs for new racks, or reconfigure outlets to best match device counts and power budgets. The modularity and straightforward installation process reduce the time to provision new racks, accelerate maintenance, and support ongoing data-center expansion without requiring complex electrical rewiring.

  • Connect the input power: Attach the PDU’s input power cord to a suitable, protected power source that matches the 110–125V specification and 16A rating. Ensure that the circuit feeding the PDU can handle the combined load of all outlets to prevent tripping the breaker.
  • Route and organize cabling: Connect your servers, switches, and storage devices to the 12 outlets in an orderly fashion. Use cable-management features where possible to minimize tangling and to maintain proper airflow around the equipment. Label outlets if you manage multiple circuits or devices to simplify future maintenance.
  • Power on and verify: After all connections are secure, power on the PDU and the connected devices. Confirm that all connected equipment powers up as expected and monitor for any abnormal behavior. If you have additional monitoring or environmental sensors in your enclosure, verify that the PDU integrates smoothly with your monitoring stack.
  • Document and maintain: Record the rack, PDU position, and outlet assignments for future maintenance. Establish a routine for inspecting cables, checking for signs of wear, and updating labeling as racks scale or reconfigure. Regular checks help sustain performance and prolong the life of your power distribution setup.

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.
