　　香港神託會和靈基營
　　香港神託會由1962年開辦至今，一直提供優質而非牟利之社會福利、教育及醫療服務，並致力宣揚基督福音。機構設有6間中、小學和幼稚園，1間牙科診所、3間社會企業以及14個社會服務單位，並與8間伙伴教會和不同地區教會合作，攜手推動身、心、社、靈全人服侍。
 
　　靈基的主樓於1924年落成，她經歷了百年的社會變遷，並一直蛻變，透過不同的服務模式關懷和服侍社會中有需要的群體。於八十年代，香港神託會正式接手靈基，並將其發展為生命教育退修營地，接待各教會、團體和大小機構，成為城市中的心靈綠洲。

　　李樹甘博士現為香港樹仁大學經濟及金融學系系主任及商業、經濟及公共政策研究中心主任。曾獲委任特區政府多個委員會成員及顧問，為零售業人力發展專責小組及勞工顧問委員會轄下勞資關係委員會成員。李博士現為投資者及理財教育委員會青年人理財教育諮詢小組成員，數間非牟利機構董事會、大學諮議會成員和項目計劃顧問，香港浸信會聯會中小學及持續教育部部長，一間中學校監與三間中學校董。在國內外學術期刊及論文集發表論文數十篇，合著與共同編輯專書十本及媒體文章約百篇。

林皓賢
 
　　香港城市大學中文及歷史學系哲學博士，現為宏恩基督教學院教育及心理學院助理教授，樹仁大學商業經濟及公共政策研究中心研究員。曾任職香港中文大學體育運動科學系博士後研究員，以及任教於香港多間專上院校。研究興趣為內亞史、古代中國對外關係、海洋史、體育史、文化及宗教研究。合著有《都市神域：香港人的聖殿與廟宇》、《詠春的傳承與保育》、《宗教與香港：從融合到融洽》以及党項夏國史、軍事史相關課題論文多篇。
 
霍揚揚
 
　　香港中文大學社會學學士學位及歷史學哲學碩士，得香港特別行政區政府的卓越獎學金計劃支持萊斯特大學完成博物館學哲學博士學位課程。現為香港中文大學歷史系助理講師。霍博士與海內外的文化機構就博物館教育及文化遺產保育維持良好和緊密的合作關係。他同時是保育歷史建築諮詢委員會及博物館咨詢委員會委員。
 
德詩婷(Naomi Thurston)
 
　　香港中文大學崇基學院神學院與文化及宗教研究系助理教授，當代中國基督教學者。研究和教學主要集中在中國現當代基督教，並希望將中國基督教學者的著作翻譯成英文。著作包括Studying Christianity in China: Constructions of an Emerging Discourse (Brill，2018)、曾合編了一本關於莫特曼(Jürgen Moltmann)和中國神學的分卷書籍，以及相關領域的學術文章多篇。除本書外，她另將出版的專著探討了自1980年代以來德國神學家莫特曼在中國學術界的接受史（Moltmann in China: Reception and Dialogue (Routledge，2025)）。

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
