Freezing Cold's debut album Glimmer combines lush sounds with earnest storytelling, creating music that is reminiscent of Lemonheads, Throwing Muses, Sebadoh, Archers of Loaf, Ride, with a dash of punk, rounding out select tracks with keyboards and a few with a string section. Listening through Glimmer and standout tracks "New Ways to Wait", "Parentheses", "Teenage Insights", and "Squint to See" the band defy simplistic genre comparisons. The only thing that the listener can be sure of is that these songs are inward in their thinking and played close to the chest. Their influences are as varied as the members, which shines through in the varied pace and approach of Glimmer. Glimmer not only introduces us to a band at the beginning of their stride, but also to a group of individuals with a passion for their craft. The album was recorded and mixed by engineer, producer, and recording artist J Robbins (Against Me!, Promise Ring, Lemuria, Jawbox) at Magpie Cage Studios in Baltimore in March of 2019.1. I am certainly glad I found them and finally ordered

A bit bulkier than my Stan Smiths Leather versions, but actually more comfortable.
They seem to be a bit "clunkier" looking than a streamline Stan Smith, but it's a matter of style. It works for a change of pace.
Gets or picks up dirt a bit, but cleans well, except the canvas part.
Has lasted almost 6-8 months with very little signs of wear.
Feels very secure in any type of weather or condition.
Great alternative or addition to having a pair of Stan Smiths.

Love the look, but Narrow
Size: 10, Color: Marine Blue/Woodbury/Ivory
What is for my son-in-law, he loves them, but had to switch them out twice because they run very narrow. He doesn’t have a wide foot at all so be careful when you purchase. Other than that they are a good looking shoe and he really likes them.

Awesome value shoes

These white Cole Haan shoes are just what I hoped for, the color is a perfect off-white, somewhere between cream and pure white, which gives them a more refined look. The quality feels excellent, they’re very comfortable right out of the box, and the laces feel durable and well-made. They fit true to size with no issues. Based on this experience, I’ll definitely be buying more from this brand in the future especially at this price point.
