The Audio - Technica ATM350W is a high - performance cardioid condenser microphone designed specifically for woodwind instruments. This microphone system includes the ATM350a cardioid condenser microphone, an AT8491W UniMount ® woodwind mount, and a flexible AT8490 5 " gooseneck, ensuring secure attachment and precise positioning on any woodwind instrument. The ATM350W delivers a clear, well - balanced response, even at high sound pressure levels, thanks to its cardioid polar pattern which reduces side and rear pickup, enhancing isolation of the desired sound source. Additionally, the in - line power module features a switchable 80 Hz high - pass filter to manage unwanted low - frequency noise. The system also includes an AT8468 violin mount with a hook - and - loop fastener and a protective carrying case for added convenience.
