Mollington jumper is one of a set of super cute baby designs - hat, baby jumper or cardigan and baby joggers and is part of our Home Farm collection of easy-to-follow knitting patterns.  The jumper, cardigan, pants and hat/booties patterns are listed separately.

The jumper has two front pockets, shoulder fastening and a lovely decorative chunky cross stitch edge embroidery.  A pleasure to knit.

Our luxurious wool is made from our finest fleeces, washed and spun in Yorkshire.  Our wool is soft, smooth and silky, bursting with lustre and worsted spun to ensure great stitch definition. 

Our pure longwool yarns are versatile and can be used for most knitting and crochet patterns as well as the lovely range that we have on offer from Home Farm Wensleydales.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 

150g (5.29 oz) (up to 3 months) or 200g (7.05 oz) (3 to 12 months) of Home Farm Wensleydales luxury DK (8 ply, light worsted weight) yarn in your choice of colour (shown here in Natural).

6 cute buttons. 

Pattern with clear instructions to complete your kit.

YOU WILL NEED: 3.5mm and 4mm (US 4 and US 6) needles knitting needles, and a tapestry needle.

SKILL LEVEL: Easy.

SIZES: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months.

COLOUR CHOICES: This pattern is shown here in natural with Cotswold Stone design but please choose whichever colour you would like for your project and I will make sure the buttons you receive match the colour you have chosen.

LAUNDRY CARE:  Handwash and dry flat.  Unless you have a new machine with a clever pure wool cycle.

Seems durable - but the scent is not the best

I don't know if I'd call the scent of this "bacon," more like rubber with a hint of bacon. It's very strong. I gave my dog one of the balls & put one in a cabinet where I keep his treats & a few other unrelated odds & ends. I now hold my breath when I open that cabinet b/c good lord, the smell. I'm tempted to just give that one to the dog too, just because it'll air out eventually & then everything else in that cabinet won't smell bad. My dog feels so-so about it. He'll briefly chase after it & chew on it, but loses interest in it pretty fast. My rather hyperactive cat also plays with it from time to time, as he seems to have more interest in most dog toys than the dog these days, so there's that. (Then again, he thinks a wide variety of random items around the house are loads of fun to toss about, so it's possible his opinion is to be taken with a grain of salt. Between the brief periods of one of these balls being chewed on & clawed at, it's stayed completely intact. I think if you have a dog who simply likes to play fetch or chew on rubber balls in general, this one would stand up to the task. But if you're expecting it to be greeted with the enthusiasm as a bacon grease covered ball might be - I'd adjust your expectations.
