- The Cisco A9K-4X100GE-SE line card delivers industry-leading high density with line-rate 100 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It can be installed in any slot of a Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Router.
- These line cards are designed to address bandwidth bottlenecks caused by increased traffic from services like Video-on-Demand (VoD), IPTV, point-to-point video, Internet video, and cloud services.
- With a single 100 Gigabit Ethernet port, you can replace large 10 Gigabit Ethernet link aggregation bundles, simplifying network operations.
- The line card supports flexible interfaces, including 100 Gigabit Ethernet, 40 Gigabit Ethernet, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet modes. You can even divide a 100 Gigabit Ethernet port into 10x10 Gigabit Ethernet ports using breakout cables or patch panels.
- A “green design” feature allows you to put unused slices in power-saving mode, reducing overall power consumption.
- The A9K-4X100GE-SE line card is fully compatible with several Cisco routers, including the ASR 9006, ASR 9010, ASR 9904, ASR 9906, ASR 9910, ASR 9912, and ASR 9922 routers.
- Note that some chassis may require hardware updates for cooling and power systems due to the high-density 100 Gigabit Ethernet throughput offered by these line cards.
- Both the 4-port and 8-port 100 Gigabit Ethernet line cards support full line rate without oversubscription.
- They set new standards for Layer 2 and Layer 3 service density and scale, enabling operators to offer predictable, managed transport services while optimizing network assets.

Warm But Pills
Size: Full, Color: Purple
Overall the Intel Design jersey knit bed sheets are just like sleeping between a huge cotton blend t-shirt. It's soft, cozy, and warm to the touch. However after only two washings, the fabric begins to pill significantly and a lot of lint collects in the clothes dryer's lint trap. The new sheets now look five years old and stratches the skin. The warmth does provide longer periods of restful sleep. Not sure how long the fabric will last, as it appears a bit tired and worn. The initial purple color also appears noticeably duller. Good value at first, but probably will replace in a few months, so not much savings in the long run
