Olympics,
33mm x 30mm,
pin-on type, depicting the white enameled Brandenburg Gate above the Olympic
rings.
The reverse bears a horizontal
straight pin and catch, above the manufacturer's label of 'Deschler' from Munich
and 'GES. GESCH'. The five Olympic rings were used as publicity badge as
early as 1935, selling over 400,000 examples. Later, the Organizing Committee
decided to produce this special visitor's badge after the opening of the
Festival.
