- Hg-X chain uses a directional design with specifically designed inner and outer plates to optimize shifting over the bottom bracket and cassette.
- The outer plate design has been developed to reduce the chance of chain binding.
- The inner plate has been developed to improve contact with the gears, make shifting smoother under high load, increase pedaling efficiency and stiffness, and achieve near-silent operation.
- Durability is ensured through a chrome treatment on link pins and heat treatment of rollers, pins and plates Anti-mud capability Open design internal links.
- The spread of the pins gives unsurpassed side chainring retention, allowing the chain to far exceed the BS/ISO standard for breaking strength. Chain is optimized for Shimano's HG-X MTB 10 speed drivetrains.

I installed this on an e46 325ix sedan, they only worked, one of them is just a little loose. I don't know how long they last, because every time I open the bonnet, the lever bothers me a little?

Not proper size

Driver side is smaller and every time I open the hood it fall down. I have to bend the lever to open the hood to install it. It look good but I’m not happy with it and I’m scared ti drop it while I’m driving. I have to check on it every where I go to be sure didn’t fall
