Proform Ford Racing Licensed Slant-Edge air cleaners are the ideal way to finish sprucing-up your engine compartment. Featuring prominent raised or recessed "Ford Racing" emblems, they are available in a variety of colors and finishes. A Motorcraft 3 in. air filter element (part # FA612R) is included for maximum airflow. The air cleaner lids have a threaded boss on the underside that attaches to a short stud that is screwed into the center of the carburetor. Simply spin the lid into place. All necessary mounting hardware is included. Slant-Edge air cleaners will bring your engine look together in head-turning fashion.Technical notes: After installation, lower the hood slowly to confirm sufficient clearance visually Minimum clearance of 3.75 in. is required from the top of the carburetor gasket area to the underside of the hood
