Formulated with high-purity porcine collagen and Hypericum (St. John’s Wort) extract, it helps relieve muscle tension, reduce localized pain, and improve mobility in strained or overworked muscles. MD-Muscle is ideal as an adjunct in aesthetic treatments targeting muscle firmness and can be used as part of rehabilitation protocols for muscle fatigue, contractures, or discomfort caused by poor posture or repetitive movements.

COMPOSITION
Collagen of porcine origin, Hypericum, NaCl, Water for injection.

INJECTION ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION
Intramuscular in the trigger points. 

SUGGESTED NEEDLE
Intramuscular: 26G x 16mm needle.
Note: Disinfect the skin thoroughly with iodopovidone or chlorhexidine. 

INJECTION TECHNIQUES OF ADMINISTRATION
• Subcutaneous administration: insert the needle into the skin overlying the muscle trigger points to a depth of 4-6 mm.
• Intramuscular administration: insert the needle into the muscle at a depth of 9-16 mm.
 
MAIN INDICATIONS
MD-MUSCLE is medical device designed to improve muscle and joint mobility and to reduce pain, counteracting physiological or pathological joint and tissue deterioration.
Scientific evidence shows the efficacy and safety of MD-MUSCLE in cases of:  
• Muscle pain  (acute, subacute, chronic):
 − due to aging 
 − due to bad posture
 − due to concomitant chronic diseases
 − due to traumas and injuries.
• Muscle sprains
• Treatment of trigger points.

Treatment can be combined with other therapies. 

THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL:
1 treatment per week: subcutaneous or intramuscular injection into the muscle trigger points of one (2 ml) or two vials (4 ml) per treatment. Results are evident from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, it is possible to continue treatment up to the tenth week without risk.
