Dankzij de VARIA™-radartechnologie detecteert het naderende voertuigen tot op 175 meter afstand met een verbreed gezichtsveld, waardoor betrouwbaardere en nauwkeurigere waarschuwingen worden gegeven, zelfs wanneer voertuigen met dezelfde snelheid rijden.

Het ultrakrachtige achterlicht zorgt voor een zichtbaarheid tot 2 km, wat de veiligheid zowel overdag als ’s nachts vergroot. De slimme remlichtfunctie geeft duidelijk aan wanneer u vaart mindert of stopt dankzij een specifiek lichtpatroon, waardoor andere weggebruikers de situatie beter begrijpen en het risico op aanrijdingen wordt verminderd.

Dankzij de geavanceerde voertuigdetectie kan de grootte van naderende voertuigen worden vastgesteld en kunnen rijstrookwisselingen worden gedetecteerd, waarbij het dreigingsniveau duidelijk wordt aangegeven. Visuele, geluids- of haptische waarschuwingen zijn toegankelijk via compatibele Edge®-fietscomputers, de Varia™-app of bepaalde Garmin-smartwatches, voor continue informatie zonder afleiding.

De compacte en elegante GARMIN VARIA REARVUE 820 biedt verschillende verlichtingsmodi, waaronder dagflits, nachtflits, continu en peloton, die via de speciale app kunnen worden aangepast. I use it daily, so it gets worn out within a year. The rubber edges would unfurl or get cracked. The zipper can break if you stuff the clutch too much, and the edges do get frayed easily, but for the cost, it's worth it! You can dress it up or wear it casually.

I LOVE this bag! I use it daily. My only wish is that it was larger, although it does hold much more than you might think. I tried to post a pic of the inside and all it holds, but the app won't let me right now. I'll check back later. Until then, the list includes... Credit, check, and insurance cards (all 8 of them), 2 pens, A pen light, Fingertip spray bottle for alcohol, Mirror, ID, Several business cards, Folding phone stand shaped like a credit card, Charging cord, Charging battery (a hefty one with qi charging), Prescription sunglasses inside a box for protection, A magnifying card with light. My phone is too big to fit in the zipper compartment (Note 10+), so I usually use a lanyard. I COULD fit it into the main compartment, but it's tight. I attach my keys to the loop with the wrist strap. Otherwise they would scratch my phone if I choose to put it inside. An expanding bottom along with just an inch added to both the height and length would make all the difference for those needed items. If the owners/designers read this, I'd request a divider going lengthwise as well to keep my phone separate and protected. It doesn't have one, or a pocket for a large phone. I do believe, however, that the latest folding Razr or Samsung's Z-Flip would easily fit into the pockets provided with no problem.
