Domaine Bourdy chardonnay 'les Jumelles' 2022Deze wijn is gemaakt uit 100 % chardonnay, die aangeplant staat op grijze marne stenen met een onderbodem die veel mineraliteit geeft aan de wijn. De wijngaarden worden volledig biodynamisch verzorgd, waardoor de wijnstokken resistent worden. Na de manuele pluk, wordt het sap in inox cuves gezet en regelmatig omgeroerd. Nadien gaat de wijn voor minimum 3 jaar op oude vaten van Allier eik. Bij het bottelen wordt de wijn heel licht gefilterd en is er

Bij het bottelen wordt de wijn heel licht gefilterd en is er een hele lage toevoeging van sulfiet. De wijn is droog en geeft ons in de neus geuren van abrikoos, verse amandel en een lichte citrus toets. In de mond hebben we abrikoos, verse amandel en elegante zuren in de afdronk. Serveren in een Bourgogne glas op een 14-tal graden met een verfijnde keuken en genieten maar. Santé!

I love the black and white sketches and the fact that the outdoor scenes of brownstones were illustrated from Boston brownstones, where we used to live.
