This dreadnought starts with a body made fully of black high-pressure laminate – a durable and musical material that delivers on its own sense of tone. A scalloped X-Brace pattern lines the inside of this high-pressure laminate for a totally impressive voice. The sound and projection possible from this Martin are only enhanced by a number of specifications and measures taken for playability.
A thin Richlite fingerboard joins the birch laminate neck to form the basis of the playing experience in the left hand. Across the entire 25.4” scale length, twenty frets play comfortably on the fingers for easy notes and chords. A Richlite bridge and Black Tusq saddle ground strings stably for fine intonation and solid playing.
