Serpentwithfeet, the Baltimore born singer-songwriter, is taking natural steps as a versatile talent from chapter to chapter in his career. His third album GRIP is the result of these latest steps. GRIP finds it's home on the dance floor of Black gay clubs and the intimate moments that happen there and afterward, no matter the location. It explores the small moments of physical touch and how they occur. Whether it be a grip around the waist or the face, serpentwithfeet manages to explore all angles. GRIP and the Black gay club share an interesting juxtaposition: the club is public; the dancefloor is obviously a place where people look at and watch one another. At the same time, the Black gay club is a safe community space, it is "for us", and in that way is very private, very intimate. These clubs provided a different atmosphere for him, a different comfort, and a different sense of welcoming that nurtured him in a new way. From start to finish, GRIP sonically lives the highs and lows of not only a night out at the club but of romance as well. "Damn Gloves (ft. Ty Dolla $ign and Yanga YaYa)" captures the adrenaline rush of a night's peak with a thumping bass entwined in dance production that mimics the heartbeat's speed as intimacy runs high between two lovers. "Spades" employs a sweet guitar-driven melody to create a tender moment as a slow-dance would. "Lucky Me" is sweet and honest, void of anything that distracts from the moment at hand as serpent's voice, a twinkling guitar melody, and enchanting synths serve as the driving force to champion a new romance. It is a body of work that highlights moments that are closest to the heart. Throughout his seven-year career, he has exhibited versatility through R&B music that's been in and outside of grim, spiritual, and joyous. Serpentwithfeet continues to push the limits of his artistry.

Easy to use.
Works well. Light is bright. Our new patio umbrella does not have e a center pole, so the lights get somewhat blocked. But still pretty useful.

Easy portability & Strong umbrella support
Size: 19inch
Its exactly as advertized! Pros: • rolls well • medium sized (not a tripping hazard & corner fit under the edge of all my furniture) • holds tall (through center of table) umbrella while open in minor wind with water-filled option. • multiple size umbrella pole insert included • Clear instructions. • easy to use brakes (on 2 wheels for security...4 wheels would be annoying to use every day) Cons: • will still roll with brakes on with a little force when I'm being lazy...it should not be this easy (I usually have a corner of the stand tucked under a piece of furniture anyways) • I would call this "light heavy duty" rather than "sturdy heavy duty" with water-filled option. I'd imagine sand + water as suggested would actually be heavy duty. • re-design suggestion: base of umbrella could extend down below the water tank for sturdier hold, but this is the best I've found.

Good buy
Size: 19inch
Filing it with sand (50 lbs) was a very slow process, but I got it done. The wheels are very convenient for moving the umbrella around, and the wheel locks seems to work well. So far I'm quite satisfied with the base.

Size: 19inch
Excellent quality! Highly recommend. I love that you can wheel it around to other areas and the wheels lock in place.
