After attending art collage in Bradford, Trevor Mitchell worked as an Art Director in a London advertising agency, returning to his native West Yorkshire to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Trevor now works as a freelance illustrator and painter, working primarily in oils, and well known for his authentic and nostalgic scenes. Trevor carries out lots of research prior to creating a new painting, referring to old books, newspapers, and photographs to ensure his images are as authentic as possible. Trevor’s work can be found on fine art prints, greetings cards and jigsaw puzzles. He lives in Shipley, West Yorkshire with his wife and daughters.
