Is this kit suitable for the newer EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) models?
No, this kit is specifically for carbureted models (C and D series). For newer EFI models (MFS9.9/15/20E), you will require the 3RS-87500-1 maintenance kit.
Does this kit include engine or gear oil?
This kit contains the essential hard parts and gaskets (filters, plugs, impeller). Oil must be purchased separately. We recommend Tohatsu 10W-30 or 10W-40 4-Stroke Marine Oil.
How often should I use this kit?
Tohatsu recommends a full service every 100 hours of operation or once per year (whichever comes first) to ensure long-term engine health.
