Brilliant Green and Oxbile inhibit Gram positive and most Gram negative bacteria. Lactose is the main carbohydrate source. Upon its fermentation by the coli aerogenes group, rapid formation of gas can be observed. Agar is the gelifying agent. There is a choice of 3 sizes 500g, 2kg, and 10kg. PREPARATION:

PREPARATION: Mix 20.6 grams of the medium in one liter of purified water until evenly dispersed. Heat with repeated stirring until boiling to dissolve completely. Distribute and autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. **Medium must be protected from light and used the same day it is made.
