Features an auto-brake to stop the rotor in less than 30 seconds to save time in the busy labs. Includes Auto-off 30 minute timer with bell. Clear view port in lid for using tachometer. Suction-cupped feet prevent slipping, while lid features a safety shut-off switch.
Available in Fixed and Variable Speed models.
- E8 Fixed (E8C-U8AF-1503) - designed for blood separations at a fixed speed of 3500 rpm only (1534 g-force).

E8 Variable (E8C-U8AV-1503) - will separate blood at 3500 rpm and can be slowed to separate other fluids at lower g-force, such as urine specimens as outlined by C.L.I.A. regulations.
